Dear readers...
While on the search for the perfect coffee, I uncovered this lovely pair, I mean, cafe! Coffee is a special problem in Germany, although I have no wish to offend, after being perhaps quite spoilt by the wonderful people at Rakinos, Columbus, and Sierra (to name but a few) it´s been hard work to find anything other than the watery burnt flavour they seem to be proud of here. OK...I have to admit the cafe in my picture doesn´t win the prize, but it comes close. Anyway, Katja speaks very good English and makes my day (I´d have said night cos I´m usually there in the evening, but it could be misunderstood)...and it´s here that I often write serious texts (like this one) for my PCs. Winter is upon us again here...just grey and dreary now, so loads of darkroom activity meaning I´ve now got around 1500 small prints to whittle down to about 25 - 30 for my next major show.
