Dear whoever reads this,
Having the root of a smashed tooth removed isn´t really worth writing home about, but at least it means a day off teaching Germans the world´s most useful language...and therefore a quiet afternoon at the end of February is being spent in the internet café being coddled by a cute waitress ("Hi to all" from Katja, reading this over my shoulder) and investigating websites. I did a search for Boris Mikhailov, and would like to recommend you take a look at www.partobject.com -somewhere there you´ll find one of his recent exhibitions entitled "Unfinished Dissertation" and a number of useful links to other work of his. He is one of this year´s winners of the Citibank-sponsored art prizes...quite mind-blasting stuff.
Otherwise, nothing much to report...just waiting for Spring (the gloomy view is from my bus-stop).
