"Did you know?"...this year is the 10th anniversary of the fall of the GDR government and the re-unification of Germany. Although there have been a lot of changes here in former East Germany, some things havenīt disappeared entirely. The coalman is still a common sight - heaps of old apartments using the infamous "Berliner Oven" (e.g. my flat which I havenīt managed to blow up yet!)
This pic is only dateable by the presence of the modern car which replaces the also infamous, but now cultish, Trabant.
Weīve got another cold spell here... -15°C tonight as I write this. Iīve heard about your Summer...hope you get sunburnt!
